Pop’s Place Policies
Pop’s place has been in our family for 60 years and we are excited to now be able to share this beautiful Harrington getaway with you. We love this stunning town – three generations have grown up with Pop’s Place as our weekend and holiday getaway. Countless gatherings, fun BBQ’s in the back yard and some very serious handball and Ping pong championships won and lost.
We have made some recent modifications whilst still keeping the ‘old bones’ of the house. This is not a premium penthouse accommodation but a home that is versatile enough to host couples, families and group bookings (perfect for fishing club getaways!). We hope you enjoy spending time here as much as we do!

Pricing
- Minimum 2 night stay
- Off peak – $250 per night
- On peak – $350 per night
- Linen – $150
- Departure Cleaning fee – $175
- Security deposit of $700.00 will be charged at time of final booking payment. Deposit will be returned 5 – 7 days after vacating the rental.
- 2% C/C fee. Please advise if paying by direct deposit and details will be provided. Booking will be held for 48 hours and cancelled if payment not received in that time.
- Non refundable $55 booking fee
- 50% Deposit paid at time of booking
- Full payment including security deposit required 2 weeks prior to check in dates
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation up to 4 weeks prior to booking with no penalty. Deposit will be refunded (minus booking fee and C/C fee).
- Cancellation within 2 – 4 weeks of booking 50% of booking amount will be charged.
- Cancellation within 2 weeks of booking date, full amount of the accommodation will be charged.

Smoking
No smoking inside premises. If there is evidence of smoking inside full security deposit will be forfeited
Parking
There is ample parking on site. The driveway is 3 metres wide.
Pets
Pets are welcome but please be advised of the below points
- Additional cleaning fee of $130 for any bookings with pets
- No pets to sleep on bed/bedding or lounge. If there is evidence of pets sleeping on beds/bedding the entire security deposit will be forfeited.
- Animal excrement must be picked up and disposed of before leaving the premises. Please bag and place in the green bin. A yard cleaning fee of $75 will be charged if animal mess is left behind.
- There are low fences in areas 800mmH that a medium/large dog (or small pets that may be excellent jumpers!) can clear and some gaps under the deck and house where smaller animals can squeeze through.
